Primary Teacher | Romford | September 2024

A two-form entry primary school in Romford are recruiting a Year Two Teacher for September 2024. This would be a full-time, long-term post until the end of the academic year with day rates between £176 - £235 on offer.

The Year Two will be pro-active and determined, able to effectively plan towards the Year Two curriculum, teach and engage a class of Year Two students! Holding UK recognised QTS, having experience teaching in the UK and holding strong Key Stage 1 subject knowledge, you will be confident to teach a class of 29 students.

A short walk from Romford train station and with bus stops nearby, the school is easily accessible via public transport. There is also ample parking on-site. You will be surrounded by a supportive network of SLT and Teaching Staff and you will be warmly welcomed to their school community.

Requirements:

  • Hold UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in Primary Schools in the UK, with at least a year's worth of experience in KS1 or KS2.
  • Familiar with planning towards and delivering the Primary Curriculum, including the use of Phonics Schemes, such as Jolly Phonics or Read Write Inc.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
