Join our dedicated team as a Year 3 teacher at our client school in Salford. This Year 3 role begins in September 2024 and you will be required to complete the academic year. This one-form entry school is nurturing towards staff, placing a strong emphasis on staff well-being. They are seeking a passionate and talented Key Stage 2 Teacher to inspire and educate their pupils.

At this school, the pupils are known for their good behaviour and enthusiasm for learning. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with each student and provide tailored instruction to meet their individual needs. Our well-resourced school offers a supportive environment where you can bring out the best in every child. Each class has a dedicated teaching assistant to ensure a calm and engaging class environment.

As a Year 3 teacher, you will be required to plan and deliver engaging and relevant lessons aligned to the National Curriculum as well as keeping records of pupil learning. The schools uses schemes of learning such a Rising Stars, White Rose Maths and Times Tables rockstars to support planning and resourcing.

This is a full-time role and the pay rate is a competitive £140 to £200 per day, subject to experience.

To be a success in this role, you will need to:

  • Have QTS or QTLS status
  • Have previous experience of managing behaviour and supporting children with SEN and EAL
  • Have experience with KS2 classes
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
