Year 2 Primary Teacher

Our partner school in Bury is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Year 2 teacher to join their team in September! This role may also become permanent!

The school prides itself on the warm and welcoming environment they have developed as well as their commitment in ensuring all pupils and staff feel included. They place an emphasis on building positive relationships through their PSHE curriculum as well as team building activities.

This one and a half form entry school has developed a broad and balanced curriculum that is aligned to the National Curriculum and they have an enquiry approach to learning, beginning each unit with a big question. As a Year 2 teacher, you would be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons that are differentiated to meet the needs of all pupils. There would also be the opportunity for you to support a subject leader. Previous experience with Little Wandle and Big Cats reading would be an advantage.

This role will commence in September 2024 and you would be required to complete the academic year. The competitive pay rate for this position is between £140 and £200 per day, depending on experience.

To be a success in this role, you will need to:

• Have QTS or QTLS status
• Have experience in KS1 classes
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks

• Have the legal right to work in the UK
