Yard Technician / Operative

Immediate temporary to permanent - Yard Technician / Operative person
Rate: £11.44 per hour
Location: Burton On Trent

Our client are looking exclusively for a Yard Technician, to start immediately. This is a hands on role within a great organisation and will cover 2 sites. To apply for the role, you must have the following skills:

* Use a computer
* Some prior warehouse picking/packing experience or production experience is desirable
* Attention to detail and able to work in high-throughput environment
* Good manual handling practice / prior experience
* Driving advised as required due to this being at 2 sites

The role as a Yard Technician, will involve the below:

* Working in a small team to pick and pack boxes of bottles and dispatching these through a courier collection
* Receiving deliveries, cleaning and tidying yard area
* Picking and delivering consumables around site, waste collection and deposit to appropriate

The role is based over two sites, Bretby and Burton on Trent, both sites are based 15 mins apart by car. Work required at both sites and advance notice will be provided for which site you will be attending.
