Yard Operative - Woolpit

Join a dynamic and thriving team as a Yard Operative in Woolpit, Mid Suffolk. We are seeking a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for efficiency.

Monday - Friday

Rotating Shift Patterns of 07:00AM - 16:00PM and 09:00AM - 18:00PM

Pay: £12PH.

As a Yard Operative, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Efficiently handling incoming and outgoing materials, including unloading deliveries, organising materials within the yard, and loading materials onto vehicles.
• Safely operating forklifts and other machinery to move materials around the yard.
• Inspecting incoming materials for quality and quantity discrepancies and reporting any issues to the relevant departments.
• Demonstrating flexibility to assist in various areas of operation based on business requirements.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a Counterbalance Forklift Licence and/or Reach Truck License, Telenhandler is desirable.

Must have experience in handling materials using Forklifts listed above.

Your ability to effectively communicate and work well within a team will also be crucial to your success.
