SMT GB have an exciting opportunity for an experienced heavy plant engineer or fitter who is passionate about engineering excellence and sustainability.

Position: Workshop Engineer

Location: Warrington

Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, and repair heavy Volvo construction equipment
  • Identify mechanical problems using technical knowledge and computerized systems
  • Work within a workshop environment

Requirements:

  • Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or Land Based Engineering
  • Mechanical experience with construction or heavy plant machinery
  • Comprehensive understanding of hydraulics and electronics
  • Ability to work without supervision to a high standard
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK without the requirement of sponsorship
