Hays are looking for a new Work Shop Fitter within Environmental Services (NOT CONSTRUCTION) to join their client and be based out of their Elmbridge depot.

Your new role

  • The JWS Surrey account comprises 4 depots with a fleet of approximately 150 waste collection and street cleansing vehicles.
    There are 3 account workshops that employ a team of 9 fitters who are responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of these vehicles.
  • This position will primarily be based out of the Camberley Depot/Workshop, but is not limited to this location.
    The successful applicant will be expected to travel to, and work from, different depots/workshops as part of their normal duties.
    Transportation will be provided in these instances.
  • Compliance with legislative and company standards of all equipment and tools
  • Health & Safety of Workshop
  • Focusing on performance, quality and productivity


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of maintenance workshops
  • Significant "On Tools" experience
