Primary Education - SATS booster Intervention

CER Education Recruitment are currently looking for Maths graduates or specialists who are looking for part-time work to help with Year 2 for preparation of their SATS.

The role will be to work within small groups at a time from the year 2 classes on a rota across the schools conducting maths intervention work. The work will be provided by the teachers and you will work through the exercises ensuring the children are all up to speed with it.

To be considered for this post you must:

  • Strong proven knowledge of maths
  • Recent experience working within the KS2 curriculum
  • Be enthusiastic and resourceful
  • Be knowledgeable of the national curriculum
  • Have the ability to work as part of a busy team and independently
  • You will be confident in supporting children on a one to one basis, or within small groups
  • Experience of supporting pupils with complex needs (SEN) is an advantage
  • Confident with classroom and behaviour management
  • With a true desire to support pupil development and learning
