Salary: £40k - £45k + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday

The Client:

The Role:

As a Welding Supervisor, you will be directing steel processing, fabrication & welding ensuring quality standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Duties:

• Coordinate CNC plasma operations for efficiency.
• Oversee work order closures and stock transactions.
• Schedule daily tasks in alignment with production needs.
• Perform risk assessments for departmental processes.
• Uphold quality standards and safety protocols.
• Regularly inspect and upkeep safety gear and tools.
• Lead and mentor staff, promoting a quality-driven ethos.
• Conduct thorough quality control checks on manufactured items.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a Welding Foreman, Welding Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of welding, fabrication, and plasma cutting.
• Skilled in 3D angle projection drawings.
• Familiarity with Autodesk drafting software.
• Effective communication skills across all levels.

Shift:

• Monday - Thursday: 8am till 5pm
• Fridays: 7:30am till 4pm.
