The ideal candidate will be fully conversant with MIG welding and ideally hold a recognised welding qualification In addition you should have proven ability of working successfully as part of a team and alone.
All welders work to detailed technical drawings, and you will be expected to produce work of a consistently high quality and to contribute to our culture of continuous improvement.
Experience in MIG welding and fabrication processes is essential along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Complete lift parts inline with the production schedule (welding, cutting, sanding, and drilling).
Read drawings to determine and produce welded assemblies
Produce welded assemblies from prototype drawings
Rotate through all welding bays
Be flexible and be able to move to other areas within the shop floor
To maintain a high standard and quality of work
Ensure safe working practices at all times
Responsible for good housekeeping in your own work area
2/3 years of MIG welding experience
MIG welding qualification is desirable
