I am working with a reputable client based in Bedford (MK42) who require a professional TIG Welder / Fabricator. The position is a permanent role paying up to £17.00p/h + Benefits.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (7am - 3:30pm)
Overtime maybe required / Weekends - Pay is Time and a Half

The ideal candidate will have experience in TIG Welding / Fabrication and working to CE Marking also known as BS EN 10 90 or ISO9001. It is imperative you are confident to work of Technical Drawings and be willing to work on pipework between ¼ "- 24". The right candidate will be proactive and able to work using their own initiative, but also follows instructions and requests from the workshop manager when needed.

Tasks that are also involved:

  • Keeping the Workshop Tidy
  • Following Regulations and H&S
  • Daily Checks on Cranes & Forklifts within the Workshop.
  • Complying to PAT Checks with Power Tools
  • Complying to Lifting Equipment / LOLER Checks

Accreditations

  • First Aid Trainer (Not Essential)
  • NVQ Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication Welding (Will also consider Apprenticeships)
  • CSCS Card (Not Essential)
  • PASMA (Not Essential)
  • IPAF (Not Essential)
  • SSSTS Card (Not Essential)
  • FLT Licence (Not Essential)
  • Water Hygiene Cards / Passports (Not Essential)
