Our client, Bramley Engineering, are a family run business. Their core business offering is the design and manufacture of bespoke cranes and lifting equipment alongside conducting LOLER inspections and safety checks for various industries up and down the country.

The Opportunity:

Due to planned growth within the business Bramley Enginnering is looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join the team based out of Leighton Buzzard.

As a Welder Fabricator you will be responsible for fabrication of crane structures, access steelwork and steel structures along with various bespoke lifting equipment.

This is a full time, permanent position (Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm) based from their business premises in Leighton Buzzard. This role is due to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding & fabrication of steelwork Read & execute fabrication drawings
  • On-site installation of cranes and lifting equipment
  • Carry out the necessary daily checks on equipment
  • Loading and unloading of steel deliveries and collections
  • Adhere to quality, health & safety, and environmental regulations

About you:

We are looking for candidates who are motivated, keen to learn and build their industry knowledge. To succeed in this application as a Welder Fabricator, you will bring the following skill sets to the role:

  • Experience in welding & fabrication
  • Ability to read & execute fabrication drawings
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when manufacturing
  • A good understanding of the fundamentals of general engineering
  • Site fitting experience an advantage
  • A can do and willing attitude a must
