An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Welder Fabricator based at a well-established and well-respected family run company at Snetterton, Norfolk.

Or client established in 1976, this family run business has over 50 years' experience in the commercial vehicle industry. They specialise in the servicing and repairing of trailers and the production of new curtain sided bodies.
The company pride themselves on the high standards of all their services and boast a fantastic, dedicated team, also a large established customer base.

Role Overview:

As a Welder Fabricator you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of mild steel and stainless steel in line with the detailed engineering drawing provided, occasionally liaising with other departments of the fabrication shop to ensure the fabrication is to the standard required.

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for personal health and safety and that of others around you
• To ensure that all work carried out complies with instructions given
• To ensure a complete understanding of what is required, prior to commencement of work
• To preserve and maintain all company tools and equipment in your care

Required Skills

• Prefer experience in commercial trailer body building, repairs and general fabrication
• Experience in MIG welding mild steel, stainless steel
• Experience in TIG welding is beneficial
• Must be capable of working to high standards and with minimum supervision
• Must have a flexible approach and be prepared to work as an individual or with others

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
• 0730 - 1600
