KS1 Teaching Assistant role in South Liverpool
Hays are one of the largest education agencies in the Wirral area. We currently have a number of Teaching Assistant opportunities within Key Stage 1. These opportunities are in several primary schools across Merseyside area in places such as L18, L19, L17 and L15.
There are both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Your new role

  • Support the class teacher in the classroom, prepare resources and teaching materials and ensure that the children in the class have access to the curriculum.
  • Supporting pupils with special needs, preparing individual resources for pupil's who need them.
  • Working closely with the class teacher, planning lessons and activities and assessing progress.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or Education related degree
  • Have at least three months experience working with children in an education setting, particularly with the KS1 age range.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Hold GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
  • Sound knowledge of KS1 Curriculum
