  • The Private Wealth management (PWM) business within Asset & Wealth Management division provides comprehensive Investment Management services and advice across a full-range of asset classes for very high net worth individuals. PWM leverages a global technology platform offering, an integrated suite of tools, and applications to service clients. This platform helps realize a client's goals and objectives, develops and implements an integrated wealth management plan and delivers first-class client service.

Wealth Management (WM) Client Onboarding Engineering Team:
WM Client Onboarding is a platform comprising of multiple systems required to on-board complex high-net-worth clients for the WM business, securely manage their data, and run the necessary KYC requirements across jurisdictions globally.

The team has developers based in offices across the US, UK and India. We are building a highly scalable, distributed, low latency onboarding application that provides unified client experience across various divisions in AWM. We use technologies including ReactJS, Java21, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and Kubernetes. You will be part of a smart, passionate and fun team of developers who are excellent collaborators. You will get to design, develop and deploy features across the stack.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Learn new technologies and languages to provide meaningful contribution to delivering new business and regulatory initiatives
  • Deeply engage with a global team to design and build onboarding capabilities including accounting for fault tolerance, availability, operational excellence and test automation
  • Work with users to gather & analyse requirements
  • Be a best practices champion and drive better coding hygiene in the team.
  • Collaborate closely with SMEs design and development of new features
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience in any of the major object oriented programming languages like Java, Go, C#, etc.
  • 1+ years of experience in Micro services using REST

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Services / Industry
  • Working with global teams
  • Knowledge of one or more NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB and Elastic Search
