We are recruiting for our client, a leading provider of 3PL and fulfilment services, based in Rushden.

We are looking to recruit Warehouse Team Leaders to effectively manage picking and packing teams and also work within their Goods In and Despatch departments.

The role of warehouse Team Leader will involve managing a team of warehouse operatives within your section. Ensuring your team achieve client KPI’s and SLA's.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of your team, as well as holding responsibility for efficiency and accuracy.

Within the role of Warehouse Team Leader you will be working within a high volume, fast paced, demanding warehouse environment and have a good understanding of retail distribution.

Key functions within this role will include, but not limited to the following -

• Planning daily staff volumes against forecasted activity
• Leading your team to achieve KPI’s and SLA’s whilst controlling costs
• Organising and distributing daily workload

General Responsibilities within this role will include -

• Ability to motivate individuals and teams
• Problem-solving
• Adhering to and enforcing company procedures and legislation.

Key attributes for this role need to include the following -

• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Ability to work unsupervised using initiative
• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications Excel word and Microsoft
• Ability to learn quickly
• Capability to provide constructive feedback to staff

You will be required to work any five from seven days on a rota basis, and expected to have flexibility on start times during peak hours.

Standard hours of work are 8.00am to 4.30pm with 60 minute break, unpaid.

This role is an immediate start for the right candidate and will be a permanent position once a successful probation period has been completed.

Pay rate - £9.47 / per hour
