Role - Warehouse Supervisor

Location - Thame, Oxfordshire

Contract - Full time, permanent

Salary - £12 per hour *due to go up in April*

Main Duties of Warehouse Supervisor -

• Lead, coach, and guide warehouse personnel to foster a dynamic and motivated team
• Manage inventory levels, conduct routine stock audits, and orchestrate restocking efforts efficiently
• Uphold rigorous standards for incoming and outgoing shipments to guarantee precision and excellence
• Enforce and implement safety measures to cultivate a secure working environment
• Drive ongoing enhancements to warehouse procedures and protocols for heightened efficiency
• Supervise the upkeep and servicing of warehouse machinery and equipment
• Manage shipping and receiving operations, including truck loading and unloading
• Maintain meticulous records of inventory, orders, and shipments
• Foster seamless communication and coordination with other teams to ensure operational fluidity and punctual deliveries
• Tackle and resolve any warehouse-related issues, discrepancies, or hurdles promptly and effectively

Key Essentials of Warehouse Supervisor -

• Demonstrated track record in Warehouse Supervision or a comparable position
• Possession of a Flexi/Counter Balance Forklift License
• Demonstrated proficiency in leadership and team oversight
• Exceptional organisational skills and adept time management capabilities
• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and inventory control
• Proficiency in utilizing warehouse software applications
• Robust problem-solving capabilities coupled with sound decision-making aptitude
• Effective communication skills and adept interpersonal abilities
