Hours of work are Monday - Friday but flexibility for the needs of the business is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving, storing and shipping merchandise
Overseeing FLT drivers ensuring the safe loading or unloading of merchandise while it is being received or when it is being shipped and monitoring all warehouse activities
Accounting for stock and keeping accurate records as goods enter and leave the warehouse
Check stock is available for customer orders and communicate with the production team and operations manager daily
Working indoors and outdoors and ensuring that Yard is kept organised and tidy with safe working standards at all times
Warehouse maintenance and cleaning is maintained
Team management with all aspects of training, coaching, rota planning and decision making
Skills and Specifications:
Must be Flexible with working hours when required and have proven experience working within a similar environment working at rapid pace to meet shipping and receiving deadlines
Excellent physical health is required as most warehouse jobs involve loading and unloading merchandise or assembly-line work. The work is physically demanding and requires lifting, bending or standing for long periods of time
Must have good record-keeping skills and must pay attention to details
