Warehouse Operative
The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work for an established, growing business in the Blackpool area.
Warehouse Operative salary: £22,308 per annum
Warehouse Operative hours: 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday
Warehouse Operative Roles and responsibilities:
- Assist with unloading and/or loading of incoming and outgoing delivery
personally and/or manage personnel involved for container shipments,
including forklift operation. - De-label, label, re-pack and store all incoming goods appropriately.
- Accurately and suitably pick and pack all goods for despatch, working with carrier collection times.
- Perform an accurate manual stock take, checking quantities of each product and record.
- Effectively use basic computer based systems for booking collections,
tracking goods and recording equipment from goods in and goods out.
Warehouse Operative Qualifications / Experience Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills, since the warehouse operative may be required to complete certain assigned tasks under strict deadlines
- Attention to detail, since he/she must be able to locate and extract merchandise from shelves and storage areas
- Good endurance skills, as the job is manual, and you will be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Follow picking lists accurately to ensure products are ready for delivery in an efficient manner
- Must have experience in a similar warehouse role
- A FLT license is desirable but not essential
- A Full UK Driving license is essential
