Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced warehouse operative for an agricultural supplies company based in Cross Hands on a temporary basis.

Pay:
  • £11.44 per hour.
  • £11.94 per hour after 40 hours

Hours of work:
  • 08:30 - 17:00 - Monday to Friday
  • 09:00 - 17:00 - Saturdays on a rota basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Picking orders, recording and checking stock, collating paperwork, yard picking
  • Loading customers orders directly into their vehicles and preparing orders to be delivered
  • Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to requisite Health and Safety standards
  • Placing all incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner, and identifying stock anomalies and taking appropriate action
  • Participating in any duties in the interests of Health & Safety, including COSHH compliance, Spillage clean-up, and safe manual handling
  • Dealing with customers face to face in a professional manner

The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:
  • Customer Service
  • Manual Handling
  • Good organisational skills
  • Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
  • An in-date FLT counterbalance is desirable
