Warehouse Operative

Job Role / Duties:

• Order Picking for a leading retailer using MHE equipment
• Prior to employment, successful candidates must pass a drug & alcohol test
• Ensure all operational manuals and safe systems of work are followed to achieve an accident-free operation
• To reconcile products with documentation and to load/unload vehicles
• Where a company uniform and personal protective equipment have been issued, they must be always worn when on duty
• This is a physical job so you must enjoy work of a physical nature such as lifting

Shifts & Salary:

• We have a variety of shifts available: 6am - 2pm, 8am - 4pm, 2pm - 10pm and 6pm - 2am
• Basic rate: £12.48 per hour - POTENTIAL EARNING OF £468 PER WEEK plus overtime
• Premium night rate from 6PM to 6 AM £14.27 per hour - POTENTIAL EARNING OF £520.125 XPER WEEK plus overtime
• BREAKS will be paid

After 12 weeks:

Overtime reconciled over a 4-weekly period; threshold 169 hours in a month’s period. Whatever is on top of those hours gets paid at £18.48 per hour(£19.87 per hour for night shifts). There is potential of up to 2hrs of overtime available each day!
Bank holiday (bank holiday rates applied on 25 Dec and 1 Jan only): £22.24 to £24.96 per hour
