Warehouse Operative

A motivated and dedicated Warehouse Operative is needed to join our team at Vax (floorcare specialists) based in Stonebridge Cross, on a full-time basis.

Working on a 6-week shift rotation, we are looking for motivated and dedicated individuals who will support the smooth operation of our Warehouse facility in Stonebridge Cross, Droitwich Spa.

We offer a 6-week working pattern:

6:00 am - 2:00 pm for 2 weeks – Monday to Friday
2:00 pm - 10:00 pm for 2 weeks – Monday to Friday
10:00 am - 6:00 pm for 2 weeks – Wednesday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

• To contribute to the smooth and efficient running of all operational activities carried out within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading of containers, lorries, and vans
• Receiving, checking, and inspecting incoming goods, ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and quality
• To pick, package, and label customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets before despatch
• To carry out quality control checks and to count and record stock figures
• To meet the volume and productivity targets set in relation to the agreed company goals and objectives whilst ensuring all customers’ requirements are always fulfilled

Required Skills:

• Always follow Health & Safety and Quality standards
• To be able to lift and carry weights up to 18kg
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in line with productivity standards
