Warehouse Operative

UBT Recruitment are working with a well-established family-run SME based in Stafford. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their warehouse operations.

You will be joining a company that works in the clean air solutions industry. This is a hands-on role working in the warehouse, where you'll be lifting, picking, packing and wrapping.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:

• Labelling, picking, packing, palletising and dispatching
• Receiving and checking goods-in against purchase orders
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of warehouse and grounds
• Building strong, sustainable relationships with the team
• Ability to work unsupervised, collaborating effectively to meet deadlines and manage own time
• Taking initiative in solving problems, demonstrating a 'can do' approach

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Full clean driving licence
• Counterbalance forklift licence
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Trustworthy
• Time management skills

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm (40 hours)

• Salary: £24,960 per annum (£12 per hour)
• Holiday increasing with service up to 25 days
