Warehouse Operative

Our client, a leading company, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You will have the chance to work with a dedicated and passionate team, where your hard work and dedication will be recognised and rewarded.

Hours - 36.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 (early finish 1 day per week)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring that all items are correctly labelled and packaged
• Operating machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse manager
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as required, including stock taking and replenishment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Forklift or other relevant equipment certification is preferred
