Warehouse Operative/ Order Picker - Days

This is a temp-to-perm contract, all candidates have the potential to earn a permanent position within our client’s team. Upon gaining a contract you will have access to a wide range of benefits such as, bike to bike-to-work scheme, cinema discounts, and health & fitness benefits.

Due to shift times, candidates must live local to Goldthorpe or have their own means of transport

Pay Rate: £12.50 from 1st Feb 2024, increasing again after 12 weeks to £13.84 + on-site parking + free fruit and hot drinks on site + discounts and offers at many high street stores, + access to a 24/7 365 legal/financial/well-being helpline.

Job Type: Temp to perm

Location: Goldthorpe, S63
Hours: 5am start working until finish (usually between 7-9 hours long), on a monthly rota working any 5 over 7

The Role:

• Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy and ensure all spillages/breakages are cleared immediately.
• Achieving daily pick rates and KPIs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Make sure products are secured, marked up correctly, and in the correct area for dispatch.
• Can be physically demanding.
• Voice picking using a headset.
• Driving/operating a LLOP (low-level order picker).
• Full coaching and training is provided alongside and throughout of a 12-week structured training plan tailored to the department and the employee.

The Candidate:

• No previous experience is needed as full training will be provided.
• Must live locally or have own means of transport due to shift times.
• Good attitude towards work.
• Reliability.

• Rotherham - 17 mins from town centre 8.7 miles car travel.
