Warehouse / Logistics Operative

My client, a market leading technical engineering organisation, based in Westbrook, Warrington, are looking to recruit on a 6-month fixed term contract basis, a warehouse/logistics operative to start ASAP.

Salary: £26,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 

FLT Counterbalance essential

Driving Licence essential

IT/Computer proficient

The warehouse/logistics operative will be required to fulfil all warehouse/logistics duties as detailed below, in addition to driving to various sites to assist engineers in the loading/unloading, & installation, of technical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Update inhouse inventory system.
• Receive & check deliveries.
• Label, organise and putaway stock into correct locations.
• Prepare picks for engineer installations.
• Pack, label, barcode, and load pallets, accurate to order details, to be shipped for engineer installations.
• Unload stock returning from previous installations, ensuring stock is in a clean and safe state to be reused for future installations. 
• Keep warehouse clean and tidy.

• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Good Organisational skills & Time management
• FLT Counterbalance essential
• Driving Licence essential
• IT/Computer proficient
