Warehouse/Goods In Manager- 30k to 45k

A truly fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client, one of the regions most successful manufacturing organisations whose products reach not only across the UK but into Europe and the US.

I am looking for a hard working & conscientious Warehouse Manager to join my client in a new role. My client is looking for an individual who is not afraid of putting in the additional hours and flexible in their approach to their job role.

The CEO of this company is very hands on and still instrumental in driving the company forward so you must be used to working closely with a business owner.

The successful individual will be responsible for implementing joined up thinking between what happens in the warehousing, stock control and the sales side of the business. Instead of simply reacting to what the sales team are doing and promoting, the CEO wants this person to be working in partnership with the sales division and driving best practice, so customer deliveries and expectations are met.

I am looking for an individual who has a strong background in Warehousing and ideally you must have had exposure to working on a daily basis with a business owner.

To be honest if your only experience is working for big multi-site companies then this role is probably not for you and your experience must be within either manufacturing, engineering or production sectors.

Some basic information on the role:

• 4 direct reports & 15 indirect reports
• 215000 square foot across three sites
• Monday to Friday role with on call duties at weekend-very occasional!
