Warehouse Data Analyst

Leighton Buzzard

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (30 minutes lunch)

Hourly rate £14.47

Our Client

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Data Analyst for our Logistics delivery and storage specialist client. They are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with excellent analytical skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced and busy distribution business.  You will play a key role in supporting the Data Analysis Manager, with managing warehouse space.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Site Managers in optimising warehouse layouts.
  • Analysing data to improve storage profitability.
  • Providing weekly reports on space usage and communicating with internal teams.
  • Ensuring regular inventory counts are done.
  • Managing the introduction of new products.
  • Maintaining and improving warehouse management systems.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Leading stock counts when required.
  • Taking on project work as needed.


The candidate

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced distribution business, preferably in the 3PL sector.
  • Attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and ability to adapt communication to different levels within the organisation.
  • Innovative thinking and ability to find new opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, especially in Excel and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make good decisions.
  • Supportive of inclusive and respectful work environments.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
  • Logical thinking ability.
