Based in Trafford Park, Manchester, our client is a global manufacturing and distribution company that are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join their warehouse team on a permanent basis. The role will suit someone that is looking for long-term career progression and someone that excellent IT skills. 

THE JOB:

Reporting to the warehouse manager this role provides essential support to the warehousing and processing function of the company. The job holder will be responsible for assisting with a variety of day-to-day Warehouse and Production operations such as Work Order processing, entering test data into an ERP system, inventory management and assisting Quality Control in preparing QC Certificates.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Organising material to be processed based on the QMS, Bill of Material, QC requirement and Customer requirements
  • After material is blended creating Work Orders in ERP system, consuming Raw Materials to Work orders to produce finished goods
  • Enter Test data linking with tested material in the ERP system
  • Preparing Labels required on pallets which can be produced from the ERP or manually produced from Microsoft Office
  • Producing QC Certificates of Conformity/Analysis and issuing against Customer Sales Orders
  • Periodical Inventory Count and update inventory count in the ERP system. Lead year end inventory count
  • Assisting with ERP and IT especially the ERP system in the warehouse and scanners            

THE PERSON:

You will have extensive experience of working within a warehouse environment, specifically having processed work orders within an ERP system, handling warehouse scanners, understanding Bill of Materials and preparing Certificates of Conformity/Analysis. You will have good attention to detail and good communication skills are required. You must have excellent IT skills including Microsoft office and knowledge of ERP systems is essential. You will be able to assist others with IT-related queries. You must be commutable to Trafford Park and have at least 5 GCSEs including Maths and English. A college qualification/A-levels or degree would be desirable.
