Mploy have an opportunity for a Warehouse and Replenishment Manager to join a fast growing and progressive retailer if you are looking to make your mark in the developing logistics department as well as bring new ideas to the business’ supply chain efficiency then this could be the opportunity for you.
This company supply Frozen pet food supplies, training equipment, toys, snacks and much more.

You will report to the Operations Manager and work with the Purchasing and Retail teams, you will lead, manage and motivate a small in house warehouse team but still have a hands on approach. As the role will initially be hands on then develop into a full time management position.

You will: 
  • Issue pick lists to warehouse teams and suppliers for replenishment and invoicing purposes  
  • Organise a warehouse and cold stores of mixed products  
  • Break down, check off and store frozen and ambient deliveries and oversee them to a high standard  
  • Deal accurately with variations  
  • Ensure loss and damages are kept to a minimum and ensure accurate reporting  
  • Keep track of cold store servicing and deal efficiently with servicing issues  
  • Manage in house label and barcode production  
  • Keep track of weighing scales calibration and servicing  
  • Ensure label wastage is kept to a minimum  

You will have:
  • Excellent verbal and written skills  
  • IT literate (Excel and Outlook)  
  • Demonstrable people management and team leader skills  
  • Be comfortable and able to work quickly and efficiently in a cold store environment  
  • Have a genuine interest in logistics and supply chain in a fast paced retail environment.
  • A full clean driving license. You may be required to drive a 3.5t lorry and will be required to provide cover for Home Delivery drivers.

Salary on offer £30,000 if criteria are met, based in Totton.
