Freightserve are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative / Driver to work on a permanent basis for a nice sector Freight Company. The company is based in the Colnbrook area.

Duties:-

  • Driving - Collection & Deliveries (small van)
  • Occasional distance driving (small van)
  • Manual Handling of Goods Loading / Off Loading of Vehicles
  • Goods Booking in and out
  • Check weigh freight and note dimensions
  • Cargo Labelling
  • Dangerous Goods awareness
  • Damage Reports
  • Cargo Manifesting
  • Manual Bond Check
  • Daily Vehicle & Forklift Checks / Log Book
  • Picking and packing
  • Documentation checks
  • Adhoc admin duties

Requirements:-

  • Standard UK Driving Licence
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Training provided)
  • Basic MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel

Working Hours are Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30

Five weeks holiday per year, after two years’ service the following calendar year it is increased by 1 day per annum up to six weeks holiday.

Paid overtime and weekend work may be required on occasion.

Auto enrolment pension rules apply and private healthcare benefits will be offered on completion of the probationary period.

Salary is dependent upon experience and can be discussed at point of interview for this permanent role based in Colnbrook. The prospective employee is required to hold a full driving licence, maximum 3 points and minimum 1 year driving experience.
