My client is hiring for a VMWare Infrastructure Engineer, would you consider a new internal Senior IT role?

Daily responsibilities include the upkeep of IT infrastructure and leading technical infrastructure projects. In addition, you will be providing 2nd and 3rd Line technical support, as well as managing network operations.

What are they looking for?
Proficiency in VMWare as well as some Veeam and Azure/365
Proven track record in Network Administration (Aruba Central or Meraki desirable)
Experience Leading Technical Infrastructure Projects
Experience as a hands-on Windows Infrastructure Engineer
Excellent Communication Skills
Strong Organizational Skills

Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, printers, and scanners.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot IT issues for staff.
Keep accurate records of IT assets, track software licenses, and coordinate maintenance with vendors.
Lead the LAN for connectivity, security, and performance optimization, including VLAN setup and managing Aruba Central and Meraki WiFi.
