Gallery Assistant

Our client, a world-renowned museum in West London requires several temporary Gallery Assistants to start ASAP. The role is payment £13.15 p/h plus holiday pay.

The main duties of the Visitor Experience Host role are:

  • To offer an engaging and friendly customer experience to visitors
  • Welcoming visitors on entry
  • Scanning tickets
  • Handing out audio guides
  • Answering visitor’s questions
  • Overseeing exhibits
  • Ensuring visitors have the best experience possible

The successful candidate will have a friendly and helpful nature. You will be enthusiastic about providing the best visitor experience. Previous visitor experience work within a heritage or cultural organisation is preferred.

We are also keen to hear from enthusiastic candidates who have experience in working with children and young people to provide a safe, inspiring and positive learning environment during May school holidays and the Summer period. If you have a DBS and a First Aid certificate this would also be desirable.
