Our client, a privately owned garage located in North London, is seeking for Vehicle Technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate must have first-rate understanding of the car servicing market, knowledge of all brands and the ability to work with assurance and confidence.

Role: Vehicle Technician

Salary: £40,000 -£45,000 per annum

Hours: Day Shift pattern

Location: North London

Key responsibilities:

• Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance work.
• Complete vehicle health checks and report issues clearly to customers or supervisors.
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify vehicle faults.
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used.
• Ensure workshop health and safety procedures are followed.
• Keep up to date with MOT and vehicle repair industry standards.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Valid MOT Tester license (Class 4 minimum) issued by DVSA.
• Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic or technician.
• Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
