Salary: £30k - £36k + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (40 Hours)

The Client:

Our client is a trusted family business offering MOT testing for cars and motorcycles, along with servicing, repairs, welding, and air conditioning maintenance.

The Role:

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you will play a pivotal role in conducting vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.

Candidates without MOT Tester qualifications would be considered if they possess expertise in timing belts and clutches.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MOT testing duties.
• Accurately record all hours and material usage.
• Maintain communication with supervisor regarding work progress.
• Utilise knowledge and skills to conduct vehicle testing and diagnose faults.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance expertise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Possess NVQ Level 3 qualification / diploma in light vehicle maintenance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Hold a MOT tester's licence.
• Valid UK driving licence.
