Day Webster Recruitment Agency is currently seeking an experienced Vascular Consultant to join our doctor's division. As a Vascular Consultant, you will lead and deliver high-quality vascular services, contributing to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vascular disorders. Responsibilities include conducting clinics, performing vascular procedures, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and providing clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting outpatient clinics, including diagnostic assessments and follow-up appointments
  • Performing a wide range of vascular procedures, including endovascular and open surgeries
  • Providing expert advice and support to multidisciplinary teams on complex cases
  • Participating in audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to teaching and training activities for medical students, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, quality standards, and professional regulations

Requirements:
  • Full GMC registration and a license to practice
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Completion of higher specialist training in Vascular Surgery
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon
  • Demonstrated expertise in vascular procedures and management of vascular conditions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
