Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for an experienced Van driver to work on behalf of our client specialising in the agricultural industry. Our client is looking for a keen and motivated individual who goes above and beyond.

About this position:

  • 6-month temporary contract
  • Monday to Friday- No weekends
  • Loading and unloading of vehicle
  • Start time is 7:00am till finish
  • Delivering bottles of fertilisers
  • Deliveries are made to farms, residential areas as well as vineyards
  • Up to 20 deliveries per day
  • Some long distance driving

Requirements for this Van role:

  • Full UK driving licence with a minimum of 12 months experience
  • Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
  • Provide great customer service at all times
  • Understand manual handling and heavy lifting due to the nature of the job
  • Fantastic time keeping
  • Previous delivery driving experience is beneficial
