Are you looking for an opportunity to join an ambitious Top 10 Firm based in London and join their US/UK Tax Team at Director grade - working closely with the Partner to continue expanding their client base?

I am supporting this Top 10 Firm as they look to hire a Director into their US/UK Tax team - working with various Entrepreneurs looking into Tax areas such as Advisory, Compliance, and Strategy.

What you will be doing:

  • Owning client relationships with an advisory style approach and a strong, but malleable manner to suit an eclectic and sometimes demanding client base
  • Continuing to build on a strong reputation in the marketplace and working in conjunction with lawyers, wealth advisers and other professionals that support HNW and UHNW individuals with US aspects to their lives.
  • Working with current clients to ensure the business has an understanding of their thoughts on current service levels and making actions as appropriate to restore any lost confidence
  • Working with the Partner to ensure the appropriate skill set resides within the team and making decisions on hiring strategy where needed
  • Managing a team of Senior Managers and Managers to ensure that all engagements are being handled in the appropriate way


What you will need:

  • Relevant Qualification (CTA or ATT)
  • Enrolled Agent Status
  • 10+ years' experience working across US/UK Tax and either at Director grade, or clear ability to step straight into this level
  • Twelve years experience in signing off tax Forms relevant to the US markets
  • In depth experiences with planning for immigration to the US/UK
  • Wide experiences with the use of the UK/US treaty in detail around business profits, compensation, pensions
  • Advanced understanding of complex foreign tax credit scenarios and planning solutions.
  • A strong understanding of CFCs, Subpart F income, GILTI and the potential election planning that can be done to mitigate these factors.
