Role:
- As the Underwriting Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the new MGA
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies to drive business growth and profitability both within the wider group and open market
- Lead a team of underwriters to ensure high-quality underwriting services are delivered to clients
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive strategic initiatives
- Work with the businesses software developer to make sure the platform is working as the brokers need and be agile in making changes where possible

Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting, preferably within the insurance industry
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Existing experience in both broker development and technical underwriting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
