Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Driver. The company we are recruiting for are a well established Heathrow based Freight company.

General Description:

Delivery driver of general cargo of varying nature and size.

Experience:

Preferable knowledge of Heathrow Airport & surrounding area; Excellent Customer service skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Willingness to learn and adapt

Main Responsibilities:-

  • The safe load and unloading of vehicles.
  • Report all instances of non-conformance of service immediately
  • Accurate accounting for the cargo received and delivered.
  • Completion of Proof of Delivery and other transport documentation.
  • Complete all other required documentation accurately and legibly.
  • Control a vehicle safely while driving to multiple locations on a daily basis.

Hours: General - Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30 (1 Hour Lunch)

Requirements:-

  • Competent Oral & Written language skills; ability to read and complete documentation; accurately and legibly
  • Basic IT skills; Ability to use basic communications and navigations technology (e.g. mobile phone, hands-free device, sat nav device) safely and legally
  • Full driving licence for minimum of 3 years
  • Have a reasonable level of health and fitness and ability to safely lift and handle cargos of various shapes and sizes
