Are you a passionate Tutor looking for your next role in Chorley and surrounding areas?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated Tutor to join this OFSTED 'Good' Alternative Provision in Chorley , from as soon as possible until June/ July 2024. This is starting as soon as possible long-term role a minimum of 2 hours a day, from £25 - £35 per hour. The school are looking to appoint Tutors who will work 2-2-1 with a KS3 and KS4 pupil. The tutor will need to be able to deliver planed work on a 2-2-1 basis.

The Alternative Provision works with pupils from age 11 - 16 years old. Classes are delivered on a small group basis session with a full-time flexible timetable, 1:1 session. Focusing on a 10-point assessment plan all work towards building our young peoples' confidence and skills and giving them the opportunity to flourish. They are a welcoming secondary school with a bus stop right outside and offsite free parking onsite.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Tutor experience
  • Experience with a behavioural / SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Experience of working with children
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
  • Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
