Our client, based in High Wycombe is looking for a Transport Supervisor join their experienced, busy team.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience
It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to hold a current Class 2 licence and Full CPC hours.
The successful candidate must be dynamic and passionate, have a positive 'can do’ attitude, be keen to learn new skills and have a desire to make a difference.
Knowledge of transport legislation and good geographic knowledge is key to the success of the role.
Successful candidates will also be required to have the flexibility to work extra hours in line with the business needs.
- FMCG, especially food service experience would be an advantage.
The role of Transport Supervisor is an extremely varied and vital role to the Transport Department. The job purpose is to assist the Transport Manager with the day to day running of the Transport Department and to provide cover for the Transport Manager when required. This role would be ideal for an experienced Transport person who is looking for a job with long term career potential.
Some responsibilities of the role are:
To support the Transport Manager in the management of the transport department in a customer-focused, positive and professional manner.
To provide management cover for Transport Manager during their absence
To ensure orders are delivered safely, accurately and in a timely manner in line with company KPI’s
Maintain all transport related equipment, ensuring vehicles are in a safe and satisfactory condition
Ensure company expectations are met with vehicle and driver standards
Establish and maintain good working relationships with all internal and external customers, including other employees, managers, visitors and delivery drivers.
Basic Salary: c£28,000 - £31,000 negotiable dependant on experience
Hours:- Contracted hours: 45 per week, Monday to Friday.
