C&C Horse Transport Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Transport Planner for their family-owned business, based in Stokesley.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the below duties:

- Day to day planning/routing and running of the vehicles and drivers, operating Nationally and Internationally.

- Providing first class customer service when liaising with customers and suppliers.

- Preparing and processing relevant paperwork.

- Ensure company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures relating to Tachographs, Drivers’ Hours Rules, WTD & RTD.

- Scheduling vehicle maintenance and repairs.

- Calculating customer quotes.

- Monitoring employee hours and providing information for wages process.

- Complying with Health and Safety and Legal requirements.

Skills required:

- Knowledge of transport regulations.

- Transport planner experience is essential.

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

- Confident IT skills with Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, Word.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Sound geographical knowledge of the UK.

- Ability to motivate team members and provide leadership skills and support.

- Experience & interest in the equine industry would be an advantage.

- HGV Licence & CPC qualification would be an advantage.

Full-time and permanent employment, Monday to Friday office based with some out-of-hours phone cover.

Salary depending on experience.
