Training & Competency Manager

This is an opportunity to join a leading firm, within the Wealth Management space, that strives on business growth and development. They support hundreds of independent practices with a specialist focus between private client investment managers and investment focused financial planners, located all throughout the UK.

Due to fantastic growth within the business they are looking to bring in 3 Training & Competency Managers whose primary responsibilities will be to supervise a group of branches ensuring the branch principals are working in line with the companies policies and guidance applicable to UK law and regulations.

This role is a field based role with regular visits to branches and Head Office in London. This role is primarily working from home, however you will be required to visit your geographically designated branches ensuring their needs and requirements are in line with the business and any development and T&C needs required are addressed and resolved.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

• Experience working with FCA authorised securities and financial planning firms, ideally within a wealth management space.
• Working knowledge of retail Investment Management firms.
• Investment Management Certificate or Financial Planning Certificates will be considered as an advantage, however they would also consider applications from someone with relevant practical experience.
