Job Title: Trainee Technician – Print Division

Location: Milton Keynes (MK8)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 Per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Technician to join our client, a Technology Services business based in Milton Keynes within their Print Division.

Job Description:

As a Trainee Technician, you will receive full training, and will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Print Division. You will be involved in the setup, configuration and testing of new and used equipment such as multi-functional devices (MFDs) and printers, which will also include diagnostics, repair, delivery, on-site installation, and training on machines. Your main duties will include:

Job Duties:

• Providing technical hardware support to users and assisting with hardware issues
• Installing and configuring technical equipment such as MFDs and Printers
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving hardware faults
• Assisting with hardware upgrades and maintenance tasks
• Responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of computer systems and hardware as you will be involved in setting up, configuring, testing & trouble shooting machines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must hold a Valid UK driving license.
• Would ideally suit someone within 15–20-mile radius of MK8

If successful you can expect a salary of between £23,000 - £25,000 depending on your experience, as well as full on the job training to help you build a successful career as a Technician within our clients Print Division.

The role will be within regular office hours, Monday to Friday, with some potential for occasional weekend or evening work during system upgrades or maintenance.
