Reports to: Talent Acquisition Manager

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 18:00, Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (occasional overtime)

Location: Potters Bar (19 mins by train from Kings Cross)

Attractive salary + monthly commission + quarterly bonus

Handpicked Recruitment is a boutique finance recruitment agency. The company is primarily based in Potters Bar with a strategic hub in London’s Mayfair. The business is still in its early stages of growth with two full-time employees supporting the Managing Director.

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and entrepreneurial individual to develop themselves, in a collaborative team, and establish the foundations to become a high-performing, specialist Finance Recruiter.

Job Description

As a trainee recruiter, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and evaluating candidates across platforms such as LinkedIn and job boards, curating a comprehensive candidate database.
  • Crafting and publishing detailed job advertisements using finite attention detail.
  • Fostering strong client relationships through effective communication
  • You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our company's online presence through social media management.
  • Embrace opportunities for professional growth as you learn and execute strategies for business development, including lead generation via email, phone calls, job platforms and other innovative platforms.
  • You willl also provide support with general administrative tasks and other ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Education & Skills:

  • Recent Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not essential
  • Proficient in effective communication, encompassing both written and verbal forms.
  • Possesses a solid grasp of commerce and macroeconomics concepts.
  • Exhibits energy, enthusiasm, and self-motivation, coupled with a strong desire for continual learning.
  • Demonstrates humility and a collaborative attitude, thriving within a small yet professional team setting.
  • Prepared to embark on an apprenticeship degree program and commit to further educational endeavours
  • Skilled in IT, proficiently navigating MS Office suites, databases, and various social media platforms.
