Our client a well known 2 office independent estate agency are looking for a Trainee Property Manager for their well established office in Cheshunt. They are a forward thinking business, looking to grow their team. This is a busy office with a great working environment.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in customer service / administration roles. Or could be someone that is currently a lettings negotiator that no longer wants to work weekends. You must be able to work to deadlines, deal with complaints efficiently and prioritise your workload. You will be working in a team looking after the whole office portfolio.

The Property Manager is a vital link with the Lettings team, essential to the continued success and growth of the portfolio, ensuring tenancies are sustained and properties maintained.

You need to hold a full UK drivers licence and have the use of your own car for inspections.

Salary package and benefits of this Property Manager role include:

  • Basic £24,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
  • Mon-Fri 8.45 am to 6pm

Main responsibilities for this role of Property Manager include:

  • Assist in overall property management duties
  • Registering applicants
  • Booking viewings
  • Discussing property details
  • Arrange maintenance quotes and repairs
  • Checking on rent payments
  • Negotiating tenancy renewals
  • Book end of tenancy checkouts
  • Conducting property inspections
