TRAINEE NETWORKING ENGINEER (IT GRADUATE LEVEL)

About the Role

Our locally based client is looking to recruit for a highly motivated, and driven team player to join their well-established, hardworking and professional team. This position would suit someone who has a genuine passion for computing/technology and is looking to grow and develop a career within IT.

The successful candidate will undergo in-depth training programme which will provide exposure to various aspects of the business to acclimatise them to the company’s values, products and services.

Main responsibilities

  • Designing of IT proposals and systems
  • Liaising with clients to help understand their needs in view of designing client networks
  • Assist with day to day running of projects
  • On site trainings with engineers and site surveys
  • Preparing quotations for network installations
  • On site trainings with engineers and site surveys
  • Technical submittals, risk assessments and method statements
  • Creating formal proposal documentation
  • Calculating bandwidth and storage requirements for IP systems

Candidate Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in an IT related degree
  • Interest and passion for technology, networking, computer science or similar
  • Proficient IT user - Microsoft Office suite
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Passionate, driven and looking to develop a career in IT.
