Frustrating isn’t it?

All that hard work getting to level 4. The time, the cost, the missed social events. You took it to develop your career only to see your attempts at using it as an adviser stifled.

Wouldn’t it be nice to find a company that can offer a structured career path? No ifs, no buts, no maybes. Just a company that opens, and not shuts, doors.

Step inside.

This business is hiring a trainee financial planner. They're a Manchester firm with a great track record of developing its staff and you'll be the next one off the production line.

You'll start off providing 1-1s for members of sizeable company pension schemes. You'll be building your soft skills from day one, meeting employees from a variety of backgrounds. You'll give them information and answer any questions they have.

But within that there will be those looking to consolidate pensions. There'll be those with more complex financial planning needs. In short, you'll be meeting your future clients without the need to self-generate.

As you grow/learn you'll bit by bit develop your own client portfolio to service. You'll increase your earnings from the get-go too as you'll get bonus on ALL financial planning cases you write.

And all the while you'll have the support of the leadership team and the admin and paraplanning teams. Your time will be with clients, not admin.

You will start off on a salary of up to c£40,000. There's no validation so you get bonus on all financial planning work.

And there's a decent benefits package too including 26 days holiday, a monthly gym membership contribution and team events. Plus the chance to work at a firm that has proven time and time again it's ability to develop its staff.

Whilst a Manchester firm you'll spend time at the offices of your clients plus working from home.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

You will be level 4 qualified. You'll have experience as an administrator/paraplanner in a financial planning firm. Or you'll be a newly qualified adviser looking for a lot more support and structure.

Along with level 4 you'll feel "ready" to advise. You will be busy in this role meeting multiple people each day so you need to be comfortable with that too.

It will take time to develop your client base and your soft skills so you will be realistic and keen to invest in yourself for the long-term.

You'll also need to be smart/well presented as you'll spend a lot of time in front of clients.
