Trainee/ Fast Track Business Development Consultant

Our client is a well-known award winning provider of some of the best life and protection products on the market today. As part of their growth plans they are seeking to appoint a fast track business development consultant to work within the Bolton and surrounding regaion.

The successful candidate will undertake a 9-month programme within the business which is designed to prepare them for taking up a role as a fully-fledged business development manager. As part of this you will complete a comprehensive training programme in addition to going through the companies own in-house training and product development courses.

The client is seeking candidates who have at least 2 years post education work experience within a sales related environment. In addition you must be able to demonstrate that you have had a stable work history and are able and willing to undergo training and development which will give you the tools to become a highly successful business development manager.

The role will require you to shadow existing business managers and to take on board training and product knowledge in addition to study for the financial services examinations.

Basic salary is to £25,000 in addition travel costs will be paid, a company mobile, laptop and IPad will be provided. As this role requires some field based work it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have your own car.
